{"id":97,"date":"2026-09-30T07:45:16","date_gmt":"2026-09-30T07:45:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/139.84.241.235\/saz\/index.php\/standards-information\/wto-tbt-national-enquiry-point\/"},"modified":"2026-09-30T07:45:16","modified_gmt":"2026-09-30T07:45:16","slug":"wto-tbt-national-enquiry-point","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/139.84.241.235\/saz\/standards-information\/wto-tbt-national-enquiry-point\/","title":{"rendered":"WTO\/TBT National Enquiry Point"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">World Trade Organization Technical Barriers to Trade (WTO\/TBT) Enquiry Point<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Zimbabwe Government is signatory to the WTO\/TBT Agreement and the SAZ Information Centre is the WTO\/TBT Inquiry point for standards and conformity assessment information.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In order to facilitate access the ePing platform, the Standards Association of Zimbabwe (SAZ) is the National Enquiry Point of TBT related issues in Zimbabwe.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The purpose of Enquiry Point is to provide to its subscribers access to key information included in the notifications made by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wto.org\/index.htm\">members<\/a> of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wto.org\/index.htm\">World Trade Organization (WTO)<\/a> under the Agreement on Technical Barriers to Trade <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wto.org\/english\/docs_e\/legal_e\/17-tbt_e.htm\">(TBT Agreement)<\/a> , and to collect and fulfill subscriber requests for information related to those notifications.
