It produces white, semi-flint grain and has a yield potential of 11-12 tonnes per hectare, equivalent to approximately 220-240 \u00d7 50 kg bags. SC 647 has tolerance to Grey Leaf Spot, Northern Corn Leaf Spot and Maize Streak Virus and has very good tolerance to Diplodia. It combines very good drought tolerance with very good standability.
