Assessed for Readiness,
Not just Results
Applicants are assessed through age appropriate academic evaluation and a family interview, alongside a review of previous school reports where applicable. We welcome enquiries from families located regionally or internationally.
For early years applicants, our assessment focuses on readiness and social development rather than formal academic testing.
For junior and senior prep applicants, assessments evaluate literacy, numeracy and general readiness for the relevant year group, alongside a family interview to ensure Southgate is the right fit for every child.
Fees & Payment Plans
Separate fee structures apply for day and boarding students, with flexible termly and annual payment options. A comprehensive breakdown covering tuition, boarding, meals and co-curricular activities is shared directly with every applying family.
Scholarships & Bursaries
A limited number of merit based scholarships and needs based bursaries are available each year. Applications are considered as part of the standard admissions process - families are encouraged to indicate interest at the point of application.
