Provision and Commissioning of Core ICT Infrastructure & Security Enhanced Project

The title and identification number of the Invitation for Bids (ITB), together with the resulting contract details, are provided in the BDS.

Throughout the documents refers to communication provided in written form, including by mail or email, with proof of receipt.Where provided for in the BDS, alternative procedures forming part or all of the e-Tendering process may be used to the extent specified in the Bidding Documents.

2. Source of Funds

The Zambezi River Authority has set aside funds to finance its operations and intends to apply a portion of these funds towards eligible payments under the contract for which these Bidding Documents have been issued.

3. Fraud and Corruption

The Zambezi River Authority is committed to maintaining the highest standards of ethics in procurement and contract implementation. The Authority requires its beneficiaries, bidders, suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors to uphold these standards throughout the procurement and execution process.

For the purposes of these Bidding Documents:

  • Corrupt practice means offering, giving, receiving, or soliciting, directly or indirectly, anything of value to improperly influence the actions of another party.
  • Fraudulent practice means any act or omission, including misrepresentation, that knowingly or recklessly misleads or attempts to mislead a party in order to obtain a financial or other benefit or avoid an obligation.
