Gauge Reader – Lukulu

Zambezi River Authority is seeking highly motivated, suitably qualified and experienced
Zambian Nationals to fill the position of Gauge Reader under the Water Resources and
Environmental Management Department on a permanent and pensionable basis to be
based in Lukulu, Zambia.

JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for monitoring, recording, and reporting water levels and flow data at
designated gauge stations on the Kariba Catchment. The Gauge Reader plays a critical
role in hydrological data collection, which is essential for water resource management,
flood forecasting and decision-making within the Authority.
