With Southgate Preparatory School’s January 2027 opening now 3 months away, applications for our very first intake, the Founding Cohort, are well underway.
Being part of a Founding Cohort is a rare thing. These are the students who won’t simply join a school; they’ll help shape one. From the first assembly to the first sports fixture, the first prize-giving to the first Founding Cohort to walk across our stage at graduation, these students and their families will set the tone for everyone who follows.
“There’s something special about being first,” says the Head’s, “There’s something different about being first. These students won’t just experience Southgate, they’ll help define what it becomes. That’s not a small thing to be part of, and we don’t take it lightly.”
Applications are open to families across [Early Years through Senior Prep / relevant stage range], with places available for local, international, and boarding students. Southgate’s admissions team is currently reviewing applications on a rolling basis, with priority given to completed submissions.
What families can expect from the application process:
- An initial enquiry and campus tour (in person or virtual, for international families)
- A straightforward application form, available online via our Admissions portal
- An informal meeting with our admissions and leadership team
- Confirmation of placement ahead of the January 2027 opening
Families interested in securing a place for their child in Southgate’s first-ever intake are encouraged to begin the application process soon, as Founding Cohort places are limited.
