It has tolerance to Grey Leaf Spot (GLS), Northern Corn Leaf Blight (NCLB), Maize Streak Virus (MSV) and stalk rots. Its recommended use is summer grain production and green mealie. In the Malawi brochure, it is matched to Zones 2 and 3.
